Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo is a high performance cleaner for diesel fuel which clean the variable turbo geometry and allows a deep cleaning and regeneration of the particle filter (DPF). The combination of different factors like short drives, city traffic is the cause of excessive soot formation. Furthermore the the particulate filter can only regenerate under specific circumstances (engine temperature, constant speed or load).
Wx² X-Cleaner FAP & Turbo is a curative cleaner specially developed to clean the variable turbo geometry and allow a deep regeneration of the diesel particulate filter, without disassembling.
Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo treatment is especially adapted to high pressure systems (classic, piezo, HDi,DCi…) and to exhaust gas after treatment devices (catalytic convertors, particle filters ). Wx² X-Cleaner FAP & Turbo treatment is recommended once a year or every 30.000km. Why use the Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo: In order to meet the demands on both levels, performance and emissions standards (Euro), modern diesel injection systems became extremely accurate and complex While the constraints forced upon injection systems are increasing, the anti-pollution systems become less tolerant. A regular cleaning and maintenance of the injection system, turbo and particulate filter has become essential to conserve an optimal engine operation.
A fine and homogeneous spray pattern is a key parameter to obtain an optimal combustion. The nozzle spray holes have a diameter of approx. 60 to 200 micron so that slightest deposit, may affect the spray pattern resulting in soot formation. The configuration of a modern diesel engine is such that the soot will progressively clog the particulate filter, the turbo (variable geometry) and the intake system (EGR). Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo will remove the soot accumulated in the turbo and free the variable geometry, without disassembling.
The diesel particulate filter is a ceramic filter in the exhaust which retains the soot particles. In ideal conditions the particulate filter will regenerate itself when needed by burning the accumulated soot particles. In practice the regeneration process can only start under specific circumstances (engine temperature, constant speed or load)which it is very rare to obtain during short drives or city traffic. Resulting in a particulate filter accumulating soot over it’s ‘natural’ regenerating capacity, which can not only cause a power loss or a excessive fuel consumption but also severe engine damage. Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo will allow a deep cleaning and regeneration of the particle filter, without disassembling.
Ad 1 liter of Wx² X-Cleaner DPF & Turbo in the fuel tank to at least 25 to 35 liters of diesel. During the treatment make at least one highway drive of 30-to 50 km. Drive normally and regularly over 3000-3500rpm. A dose of 1 liter is suitable for fuel tanks up to 70 liter. Tip : After this treatment use Wx² X-Cleaner Diesel, to clean the injection system which was responsible for the excessive soot formation.
